The Lost Temple
There is a long story here. These are a tribe called the Yazidis, part of the Kurdish nation. This place is specifically their main temple called Lalsh. Near Sheikhana township of Duhok province. Kurdistan Region in northern Iraq. I have visited here before to cover different cultures. There are various conditions for those who visit here. One of them is that you must take off your shoes and go to them wearing nothing because they consider this place sacred. That's their belief

لێرەدا چیرۆکێکی درێژ هەیە. ئەمانە هۆزێکن پێیان دەوترێت ئێزیدییەکان، بەشێکن لە نەتەوەی کورد. ئەم شوێنە بە تایبەتی پەرستگای سەرەکیانە بە ناوی لالش. نزیک شارۆچکەی شێخانە سەر بە پارێزگای دهۆک. هەرێمی کوردستان لە باکووری عێراق. پێشتر سەردانی ئێرەم کردووە بۆ ڕووماڵکردنی کولتوورە جیاوازەکان. مەرجی جۆراوجۆر هەیە بۆ ئەوانەی سەردانی ئێرە دەکەن. یەکێک لەوانە ئەوەیە .کە دەبێت پێڵاوەکانت داکەنیت و هیچی لەبەر نەکرد بچیتە لایان چونکە ئەم شوێنە بە پیرۆز دەزانن. ئەوە باوەڕی ئەوانە
