the lonely light in the forest This is a snap I made once in the (Bla) valley in south kurdistan. I had only seconds to compose, doing my long idea photographic , racing around with my camera and interpreting compositional options quickly. I soon came up with this perspective on things, putting the viewer in the forest. Nature in Autumn Fall is one of the best times of year. I love the Fall. I think it is my favorite season of the year. Where I live in the middle east region, the trees put on a spectacular foliage display. The days are clear, crisp and cool. I take long walks and breathe deeply. Autumn is a season of change from summer to winter. It is known as Fall in some parts of south Kurdistan because of the falling leaves of deciduous trees. Autumn begins with the Autumnal equinox. As the earth tilts closer to the sun, days become shorter and nights grow longer. September, October and November are the autumn months in the Northern Hemisphere. In the Southern Hemisphere autumn is from March until June.

Fall Forest


The initial sunrise was pretty bland with clear blue skies. However we made our way to this awesome field, which had some beautiful evening near sunset mist creating some incredible light rays. I tried my best to replicate what I felt and what I saw that morning. To the naked eye the moment was literally something out of a fantasy movie.
